BATON ROUGE, La., (KNOE 8 News) – The Louisiana Workforce Commission is set up for online access this year as a service to residents doing their taxes.
Claimants who received unemployment insurance benefits in 2011 will receive a Form 1099-G from the Louisiana Workforce Commission, in accordance with federal tax guidelines.
All unemployment insurance benefits received are considered taxable income by the Internal Revenue Service.
Claimants can now view and print their 1099-G information from our website, www.laworks.net by logging in with their Social Security Number and PIN. Login now.
