MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - The Monroe Police Department needs your help in locating wanted person, 24 year old Benjamine Daily.
On January 21, 2012 around 11:30pm, Daily was involved in an altercation with a female in the 100 block of Pear Street in Monroe. A male acquaintance tried to intervene and Daily stabbed the victim with a knife several times. Daily then fled the scene. The victim was taken to St. Francis hospital where he was treated for his wounds.
A felony warrant for attempted second degree murder has been issued for Daily. Daily also has a recently issued warrant for second degree robbery. Police believe he may have fled north out of state.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to two thousand dollars for information
leading to the arrest or grand jury indictment of the person or persons
responsible for this crime, or any other felony crime in Ouachita
Parish.
