DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Sheriff's deputies in Livingston Parish are investigating the theft of two dozen LSU championship rings taken from the home of an assistant athletics director.
The Advocate reported the theft happened in December from the home of Kevin Wagner. Deputies announced the incident this past week.
Included is the 2007 ring from LSU's football national championship, which Wagner said is the most valuable to sports memorabilia dealers. Wagner said he has little hope of recovering the rings.
