WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Department needs your help in identifying an attempted armed robbery suspect.
On January 12, 2012, just after 1:00 am a subject described as a white male, medium build in his early twenties, wearing a green military style jacket, red and black bandanna and ski cap entered the Circle K convenience store located at Well Road.
The subject produced a small caliber handgun, pointed it at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk told the suspect the store did not keep money overnight. The suspect then fled the store north on foot. No money was taken. It is believed the suspect left in a gray or green Jeep Cherokee.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to two thousand dollars for information leading to the arrest or grand jury indictment of the person or persons responsible for this crime, or any other felony crime in Ouachita Parish.
