
BATON ROUGE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - The Louisiana Emergency Response Network (LERN) Board of Directors has announced its new Executive Director to lead the organization and its efforts to develop a comprehensive, coordinated statewide system for access to regional trauma-patient care throughout the state.
Paige B. Hargrove, BSN, RN joins LERN as Executive Director with over 14 years of experience in relevant fields such as private hospital administration, emergency medicine , policy development, public sector Medicaid program management, and both program and operational compliance. Through this experience, Hargrove has also established a vast network of strategic partnerships that she brings with her to LERN such as those with industry leaders such as MD's and health care officials, elected officials on both local and statewide levels, and community leaders across the state of Louisiana and beyond.
Hargrove joins LERN after serving as a Medicaid Program Manager for the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals (DHH), where she was responsible for coordinating and overseeing Medicaid statewide hospital program initiatives such as inpatient Utilization Management (UM) and Radiology Utilization Management. Prior to her experience with DHH, Hargrove served as a Director of Medical Management for one of the largest private medical centers in the state of Louisiana, where she directed a 600-bed facility and managed an annual budget of over $3 million while overseeing a staff of 45 employees.
