MONROE, La., (KNOE 8 News) - ULM crew picked up 13 medals, including 4 gold medals, 5 silver, and 4 bronze at the World University Championships held in Los Morros, Chile.
This was more than any other university in the world.
The list of honors for the ULM skiers includes:
Ladies' Slalom: Kate Adriaensen, Belgium - first place (gold); Alexandra Lauretano, U.S. – fourth place; and Silki De Lacy, New Zealand – 15th place.
Men's Slalom: Adam Pickos, U.S. - second place (silver); Adam Sedlmajer, Czech Republic - third place (bronze); Martin Bartalsky, Slovakia – fourth place; and Daniel Odvarko, Czech Republic – fifth place.
Ladies' Tricks: Lauretano - first place (gold); Adriaensen - second place (silver); and De Lacy – eighth place.
Men's Tricks: Pickos - first place (gold); Sedlmajer - third place (bronze); Odvarko – fifth place; and Bartalsky – seventh place.
Ladies' Jump: Lauretano - second place (silver); Adriaensen - third place (bronze); and De Lacy – 11th place.
Men's Jump: Sedlmajer – fourth place and Bartalsky – sixth place.
Ladies' Overall: Lauretano – first place (gold); Adriaensen - second place (silver); and De Lacy – 10th place.
Men's Overall: Sedlmajer – second place (silver) and Bartalsky - third place (bronze).
