Crime Stoppers: Iberia Bank Robbery

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Monroe Police need help in identifying the person recorded in this bank surveillance video.

The black male suspect was wearing women's clothing, a wig and cap. He entered the Iberia Bank branch located at 3500 Desiard Street in Monroe on December 21, 2011. The suspect produced a weapon and demanded money. Bank clerks cooperated.

The suspect left on foot westbound from the scene with an undetermined amount of money. The same suspect was caught acting suspicious on surveillance footage at a Ruston bank on December 23, 2011.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to two thousand dollars for information leading to the arrest or grand jury indictment of the person or persons responsible for this crime, or any other felony crime in Ouachita Parish.
