Victoria moved to Monroe in October 2011 from the Washington D.C area for her very first television reporting job. She loves living in the south and appreciates the southern hospitality that the people of Louisiana have shown her. Victoria has wanted to be a news reporter ever since she anchored her fifth grade news school announcements and then again for BP 13 in high school.
Victoria graduated from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia in August of 2011. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies and a minor in political science. During college, Victoria was the founder of the campus TV station, CNU TV and editor in chief of the campus newspaper, The Captain's Log. Victoria also started her own video production business and shot over 60 weddings in Virginia, corporate videos, and documentaries throughout college.
Victoria has been fortunate enough to learn and be inspired through interning at Newport News TV, Wavy-TV/WVBT Fox 43, and WTKR Channel 3.
