Shrimp and grits

  • 3 Parts chicken broth
  • 1 part grits
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • fried bacon, chopped
  • shredded cheese
  • 1 lb shrimp
  • onions
  • bell pepper
  • celery
  • olive oil
  • butter
  • 1/2 tsp roux
  • water
  • parmesan

Method of preparation:
Cook grits, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix in bacon and cheese

Saute shrimp. Cut into bite size pieces. Saute onion, bell pepper, and celery in olive oil and butter. Add water. Let simmer. Spoon over grits. Sprinkle with parmesan
