HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Garland County authorities say a man was shot by his grandfather this week after an argument inside a home. Police say they don't know what started the argument and that charges haven't been filed.

EL DORADO, Ark. (AP) - Officials are trying to identify an unknown liquid that has turned a creek in southern Arkansas bright green. City and Union County officials worked yesterday to contain the contamination. El Dorado Utilities manager Mark Smith says the mystery liquid ran along the railroad tracks and flowed north in a creek toward the county fairgrounds.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - An Arkansas university says it will cut 16 jobs in two years as it phases out a printing unit. The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville says it will stop offset printing in July 2016. The school says it will work with employees who want to stay at the university in helping them find a job.

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) - An Arkansas couple has reunited a man with his high school class ring that had been missing for more than 40 years. Brooks Smith inherited a stranger's 1967 class ring after his father died. Smith says his father had unsuccessfully tried to track down the owner. Smith and his wife Melissa eventually located Joe Keary, and he received his Subiaco Academy class ring yesterday.
