UNION PARISH, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Union Parish Sheriff Bob Buckley said the body found in Union Parish is identified as 34-year-old Jeremy Wayne Hudson of Farmerville.

Hudson was positively identified from dental records sent to a forensic pathologist in Little Rock. on Wednesday.  The pathologist did not find any trauma to the body, and foul play is not suspected.

How the individual died is not yet known and the investigation is continuing.

The sheriff says it appears Hudson was at a home on Salem Church Road and ran into the woods in the general direction where he was later found.

Buckley said a Union Parish family came in late Monday afternoon reporting a family member missing.

The badly decomposed body was found about 8:30 p.m. on Sunday by a family who was riding four-wheelers some two miles northeast of Farmerville.
