Farmerville store owner face charges after selling "bath salts"

FARMERVILLE, La.(KNOE 8 News)-The owner of a Farmerville grocery story is facing charges after he illegally sold banned bath salts that some are using to get high.

Peter Patel owns "K & J" grocery. He was first arrested several days ago, after a month long undercover investigation.

Drug agents were able to buy the banned bath salts on two occasions.

Agents say the bath salts are basically synthetic cocaine.
