'Who Dat' Mini Melts

'Who Dat' Mini Melts
 
1 lb  Ground beef
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Chili powder
1/2  tsp Crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp Black pepper
1/2 tsp Paprika
Tony's Chacherie seasoning to taste
2 Tbsp Worcestershire's sauce
1 Medium onion sliced
1/2 lb Mushrooms chopped
Spread butter
Sliced white American or sliced cheddar cheese
Sour Dough cocktail bread
 
Season beef with garlic powder, chili powder, red pepper, black pepper, Tony's, and Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl. Form patties about the size of cocktail bread. Cook in skillet on medium heat, turning at least once until done. In another skillet, saute mushrooms and onions in butter ( about 1 tbsp ), sprinkle with Tony's, garlic powder, and paprika until caramelized. Butter  both sides of bread, place in clean skillet , quarter cheese and place on one side of bread. Add one pattie then top with onion/ mushroom mix add another quarter of cheese then another piece of buttered bread. Toast in skillet on one side then turning/ flipping to other side. Remove from skillet once toasted on both sides and serve. These may be frozen and reheated later.
