Smothered Pork Chops Recipe


4 pork chops
Tony' s seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 cups flour (divided)
1/4 onion sliced
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup vegetable oil


Season pork chops , coat in half of flour shaking off excess. Place in heated frying pan of oil and cook on each side 4-5 min. Remove from pan and pour off all but 3 Tbsp of oil. Add onions, flour and Brown. Gradually add water, stirring constantly until gravy thickens. Return fried chops to gravy, reduce heat and simmer for 4-5 min. Serve over warm rice and enjoy!
