1# chicken thighs
16oz seasoning blend
1 box gumbo base
4 large potatoes ( baked )
Add seasoning blend to 1 qt water in stock pot then add
chicken and boil for 15-20 min.
Remove chicken and cube into bite size pieces. Slice sausage and cook for 3-5 min.
Add gumbo mix to seasoned water. Stirring mixture until thickens. Add chicken and sausage and simmer for 30 min.
Cut into potatoes and spoon out inside, leaving support wall. Spoon in gumbo.
Optional: you may use spooned out potato to make potato salad and add to top of gumbo in potato!
