MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - "My hope is to reach an audience who has given up and will dream again."
For Kendrick Jones living life to the fullest means helping others do the same.
"I help people find their dream by first showing them that they have purpose already."
So a couple months ago he started a campaign called "Dream Again."
It's a website that asks people who have over come fear and self doubt to share their story.
"My hope is by Sharing their story other people will be inspired and other people would feel the need to share their stories."
Stories like Delaney Driver's who always dreamed of playing volleyball
but didn't know if she was good enough.
"A lot of it was just about my physical ability that I was small and undersized."
But She persisted, dove into hard work and made it happen.Today she's a division one volleyball player at ULM.
"This campaign has encouraged me to keep dreaming and to continue fighting for what I'm passionate about despite the adversity I face."
"This shirt right here says dream dreamer which is something that might sound like a cliché, but Kendrick says it's not a cliché and his own story proves that"
"For years of my life I've struggled with fear and self doubt."
But through listening and writing about the successes of others he's learned how to cope with that self doubt by inspiring others.
"There's no limitation for what anyone can do, I surpassed that and now I'm going for it."
