Two New Orleans men arrested for shooting Ruston man

RUSTON, La. (KNOE) - An investigation into a shooting that happened two months ago has led the Ruston Police to arrest two suspects.

Two New Orleans area men were arrested last Friday. They are charged with the attempted second-degree murder of a Ruston man. The incident happened on August 17th on Dark Street.

Alfred Johnson and Stacy Vincent Santimore Jr. are charged with shooting 24-year-old Ja’Ren Johnson. Johnson suffered wounds to the head and abdomen.

Both Johnson and Santimore are booked into the Lincoln Parish Detention Center. Their bonds are set at $300,000.
