(KNOE 8 WEATHER) - Good Monday morning! I hope you enjoyed your Father's day weekend! I wish we could start the work week off with bright sunshine but that won't be the case today as a frontal boundary associated with a trough to our north will create showers today. High pressure returns tomorrow and Wednesday but will be short lived as another trough moves in later in the work week. We are also closely monitoring the tropics as an unorganized cluster of showers and storms near the Yucatan Peninsula will move into the Gulf Of Mexico, which is an area more favorable for development. The forecast models are uncertain as to where exactly the storm will go or the intensity of the storm, but we will likely have a much better idea tomorrow. Regardless, it is worth watching!
