(KNOE 8 Weather) - Tropical storm Nate has winds of 45 mph and is expected to strengthen to a category one storm as it makes landfall Sunday morning with winds of 80 mph. luckily here at home we'll stay on the dry side of the storm but that doesn't mean we wont see any impacts. We could see breezy winds, rain, and we'll also see a spike in our humidity. Rain chances appear possible for both Saturday and Sunday. A cool front will be just off to our northwest at the time the storm makes landfall which will only aid in rain coverage for us. Early next week our forecast will still be unsettled as yet again another trough crosses through the great plains and an upper level low will steer showers into our area. Temperatures will remain above average through Tuesday before a cool down is in store for Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures next week will be in the low 80's which is about average for this time of the year!
