Gunshots caught on camera.

On Monday, at the apartments on Lewis Street in Ruston. A man pulls a gun from another man's pants and opens fire on a crowd of people.

Some of the neighbors are still in shock.

"They don't know who they might hit," Evaline Randle said. "There's children running around out there."

One witness saw the shooting happen and recorded it on her phone. Then, she says she grabbed her son and ran for her life.

"Anything could've happened," she said. "What if the bullet shot him [her son] while I was running? Or, [what if it] shot me?

Incredibly, police say nobody was hurt. And, they say although they have one man in custody. the shooter is still on the loose.

Neighbors say that's why they're so scared. They say it's a rude awakening.

"Get to stepping," Randle said. "I'm trying to live. I ain't trying to be shot. So that's what I learned - get to stepping Evaline."

Others have a bigger message.

"We should all come together instead of killing each other," the witness said. "It's really, it's just, I'm just lost for words."

No words for a video that says so much.
