Update: Thu 3:15 PM, Jan 04, 2018

A fourth candidate has qualified to run for mayor of West Monroe.

Shortly after Jennifer Schmeer officially entered the race Thursday, Tremaine "The Mayor" Gordon joined in. Gordon, who has no party affiliation, made a name for himself in 2016 when he took on incumbent Mayor Jamie Mayo for the city's top office.

Gordon became a very recognizable figure in Monroe in the weeks leading up to the election. Without much in the way of resources, Gordon tried to drum up support by hitting the streets in his stark white suit with the words, "The Mayor" written in big, black letters on the back of his jacket.

However, "The Mayor" didn't quite live up to his name on election day. Monroe residents cast less than 200 votes for Gordon, leaving him last in a field of four mayoral candidates. Holly Dixon and Ray Armstrong also challenged Mayo in 2016 and lost.

Here are the lists of candidates for each West Monroe race, as of 3:30 PM Thursday.
