(KNOE 8 Weather) - Clouds and showers will continue to build into the area today, especially along and north of I-20. Temperatures through the afternoon will be in the upper 60s in areas that we see light to moderate showers, otherwise off to our south and west temperatures will be in the mid 70s.
The clouds will stick around for a bit tomorrow, but should be clearing as we head into the afternoon, which will allow us to warm back into the upper 70s and low 80s around the area.
After Post Tropical Cyclone Irma moves further northeast from the ArkLaMiss tomorrow and through the rest of this week, we will see the southerly wind return to the area. This will help increase our dew points into the low to mid 60s by the weekend, and allow more seasonable highs and lows to return to the area.
