MONROE, La. (KNOE) - On Thursday morning, Restaurant Sage of Monroe announced on it's Facebook page that it'll be closing its doors after opening in October of 2007.

The post said any outstanding gifts cards can be redeemed by contacting the restaurant.

The owners have not released a statement on the force behind them closing.

Facebook Post:

After over 10 years of service, Restaurant Sage has closed its doors for the last time. We'd like to sincerely thank the city of Monroe and all of our patrons and employees from over the years. Any outstanding gift cards can be redeemed by contacting the restaurant. To all our fellow restaurateurs we had a great staff with us up until our final days, if you have an opportunity to take them on at your establishment you should. Once again from the King family, thanks to everyone for a great run.
