Miss GSU competing for spot in Ebony Magazine

GRAMBLING, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Jimmitriv Roberson earned quite the reputation on campus since she was crowned Miss GSU last year, but now she's hoping to gain some national attention.

Roberson and 60 other contestants are competing to reign as one of Ebony's top ten HBCU campus queens.

With more than eleven million people subscribing to to Ebony Magazine, Roberson says making the cut would not only expand her platform, but give her the opportunity to represent something greater than herself.

"My community and Grambling State University," says Roberson. "This would give me an opportunity to recruit for my university, put my university on the forefront, and to show alumni that I am able to
represent the university on a much greater and larger scale."
