MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The city of Monroe has announced a memorial fund for Officer Ayrian Williams, who died in the line of duty.
In a news release sent to KNOE, the city says contributions can be made at any Iberia Bank location.
"Mayor James E. Mayo and Chief Eugene Ellis are pleased to announce the establishment of a Memorial Fund for Officer Ayrian Williams. Contributions can be made at any Iberia Bank location.
Citizens who wish to contribute can make the request at any location and a bank representative will be happy to assist.
Williams died when her vehicle crashed while she was responding to a call Monday night.
