Helpful Tips:

Parking:
-When parking along a side street, avoid driveways and private property.
-No parking along parade route.

Safety:
-Stay behind the barricades while the parade is in progress.
-Keep an eye on your children.
-Do not throw items at float riders and walkers.
-The City of West Monroe does have an “Open Container” ordinance which does prohibit the consumption of alcoholic beverages in public. This ordinance will remain in effect for the Mardi Gras Parade and will be strictly enforced.
-Be mindful that lewd behavior or drunkenness can get you arrested.
