(KNOE 8 WEATHER) - What a shocker this morning, dew point temperatures in the upper 60's made for a very sticky morning. Typically we don't see humidity this high until June or July. Why is it so humid you may ask? You can blame that pesky low pressure to the north which is pulling the Gulf of Mexico moisture northward!
There is a severe weather threat to our northwest today, around Oklahoma, but all the upper-level support is to our north, so it looks like we are yet again dodging a bullet!
This weekend we won't be dodging any bullets, wet weather can be expected for both Saturday and Sunday. For the most part, we're talking light rain along with a few weak thunderstorms.
Monday looks dry!
