LINCOLN PARISH, La. (KNOE) - Grambling police are seeking a suspect allegedly connected to stealing liquor from a Lincoln Parish store. According to employees of Devine Wines and Spirits located on South Service Road, the incident took place last Saturday.

The manager of Devine Wines and Spirits, LeAnne Rozelle, said thefts like this happen eight to ten times a year.

The entire incident was caught on the store's surveillance cameras. The footage shows one man stuffing two bottles of liquor down his pants.

Rozelle said the suspect also had someone helping him. She said another man was present, who they believe was distracting the cashier from the thief. Rozelle said if thefts continue, customers may see a spike in prices.

"It was very frustrating, very frustrating," she said. "We work really hard to make sure that we can keep our prices low. When someone comes in and steals product it changes our bottom line and it affects the way we can operate. If we keep having thefts like this then we're going to have to raise our prices."

Grambling police are asking anyone with information to contact their office.
