"With this vigil tonight you can tell what he was looking for is actually happening," Said Dakid Williams, who was the victims Roommate.

All Nicholas Green wanted was for people to love one another.

Tonight at a vigil in his honor they did.

"When he was happy he gave you encouragement, when you were sad he would do the same thing and we took that for granted. But seeing everyone show up means everything," Said Dylan Debille.

He was just 22 when he was killed last week. His Friends say he was murdered.

Police say they're not sure what happened to Green and the investigation is ongoing.

As that happens hundreds of people came together tonight to remember him

"We did everything together, we did nothing solo," Williams Said.

They have a clear message. This wont be another unsolved murder.

"I hope that they do find the suspect so that we can have total closure but this vigil gives us partial closure."

But for now the only thing that can heal them is time.
