Apartment fire in West Monroe

WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - An apartment complex on the 900 block of Parkwood Drive in West Monroe caught on fire around 3 A.M. Wednesday morning, affecting three units.

One apartment was fully burned. A resident says he was asleep when the fire started. He says he was awoken by the smoke and saw fire in the living room and kitchen area.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
