HOLLY RIDGE, La. (KNOE) - Harvey moved through the ArkLaMiss Wednesday and caused damage to some areas. One woman in Richland Parish says she thinks a tornado ripped through her property.
"My neighbor called me and said you better get down here the tornado touched down at your old home."
Strong thunderstorms moved through the area during the afternoon hours, and Nancy Hartman believes a tornado uprooted trees and caused damage to her home and shed.
"Oh my God! Thank God the house is still there," she said.
"I threw on my boots and ran out here to see what I could do. That's just what family does," Bobby Nobles, Hartman's brother, told us.
They say this isn't the first time severe weather has left them cleaning up. "We had straight line winds that took the roof off last summer or the summer before that."
The March 2016 flooding forced her out of her home. "We flooded twice and now this."
Hartman says she's staying optimistic through the chaos.
"After the flood, you know, it's heartbreaking... but a lot of people in Houston are worse off so my heart goes out to them."
There were no injuries reported.
The National Weather Service told us on a phone call that they will survey the damage at some point.
