Roderick George was arrested at the Walmart in Monroe after he was suspected of stealing several packages of meat. Police say he attempted to fight a security guard with a large metal object that looked like a safety pen. They say George had the object on his key chain. George was arrested for armed robbery and bond is set at $35,000 dollars.
