NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) - Great River Industries is expanding in Natchez and moving its corporate headquarters there from Memphis, Tennessee, creating 25 jobs. The company says it will invest $4 million to add 12,000 square feet of space, adding to its current 150 employees.

CORINTH, Miss. (AP) - A Corinth teenager has been charged with murder in a fatal shooting Wednesday night in the northeast Mississippi city. Police Capt. Ralph Dance says bond was set at $500,000 for the 17-year-old youth during an arraignment today. Dance says the teenager is charged in the shooting death of 19-year-old Anthony Beene of Baldwyn.

GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisolara says he will not seek re-election in 2015 and will retire when his term ends in January 2016. Brisolara tells The Sun Herald he is announcing his decision now so Chief Deputy Landi Phillips can begin prepare to run for the office.

TUPELO, Miss. (AP) - Brooks Grocery plans to build a supermarket that will employ 65 to 75 people in west Tupelo. Owner Brooks Davis says the new store should open in the spring, and will be his company flagship.
