EL DORADO, AR. (KNOE 8 News) - KNOE 8 News was live tonight in El Dorado, Arkansas to help light the city for Christmas. Chief Meteorologist Tom Pearson started the countdown as everyone screamed "eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one!"
And the lights shined.
"There were hundreds, probably thousands of bulbs," said Tom Pearson on KNOE 8 News at 10:00 Thursday. Pearson spent about a minute during his weather cast talking about the event and showing viewers clips of the ceremony.
Hundreds of people were also on-hand to watch the town square instantly change to holiday spirit.
"If you've never been to El Dorado during the holidays, you should go," said Pearson.
