OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - A 27-year-old man is in custody after being charged with capital murder and aggravated assault in the shooting deaths of a Lafayette County man and his son, and the wounding of a third victim.
Sheriff Buddy East said Caleb L. Corrothers turned himself in to authorities on Friday.
East said 44-year-old Frank Taylor Clark II and his 20-year-old son, Charles Taylor Clark, were shot to death July 11 at their home. The wife and mother of the victims, Tonya Clark, also was shot, but survived.
East said the motive in the killings had not been determined.
East said the suspect had been living in an area east of Oxford.
