West Monroe artist's mural covered up in Antique Alley

A local West Monroe artist's mural that was painted over the summer in Antique Alley has been covered up. Despite its popularity with the public, the West Monroe Historic Preservation Commission deemed the piece "not historic in nature", and told the building owner to cover it up.
